Pennsylvania East Regional Conference
Calling all Phi Alpha Theta members in the Pennsylvania East Region (including South New Jersey and Delaware)! You are cordially invited to participate in the 2024 Regional Conference, scheduled for Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey. We invite paper proposals from undergraduate and graduate Phi Alpha Theta members at all participating campuses in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.
Students who wish to give a paper presentation should submit a 200-word abstract that explains the central question(s) and time period examined in your paper to Profs. Mikkel Dack (dack@rowan.edu) and Debbie Sharnak (sharnak@rowan.edu) by Friday, February 23, 2024. Be sure to include your name, email address, school, and the title of your presentation. Please also indicate if you are an undergraduate or graduate student.
Faculty Advisors: Please send all abstracts together in one email and send names and fields of expertise of each faculty member who will attend from your school.
After you receive notification that your paper abstract has been received, you can register for the conference by filling out the form below and register for the event ($25.00 per attendee).

If students wish to have their conference paper evaluated for a paper prize, please note that the competition will be limited to the paper delivered at the conference. There is a word limit of 3,000, excluding citations (or 12 pages of double-spaced text, excluding citations). To be eligible for the competition, full papers must be submitted to dack@rowan.edu by Sunday, March 15, 2024.
