Welcome Glassboro State and Rowan University History Alumni! The faculty of the Department of History are very proud of the thousands of alumni that have sat in our classes and visited with faculty in Bosshart Hall (before 1973) and Robinson Hall (since 1973). The Department actually claims as its alums all Glassboro graduates before 1956 since the curriculum up to that time required that all students complete majors in education and social studies. Reunion 2023
The Department of History hosted a successful series of events for social studies and history major alumni in late October 2023.
Reunion 2027
Plans are already underway for a major reunion of history majors for the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Psi Iota chapter of the national history honors society, Phi Alpha Theta.
