Dr. Kirti Yenkie and her students win awards at 2022 AIChE

Dr. Kirti Yenkie receives the 2022 AIChE Environmental Division Early Career Award for her outstanding contributions in environmental chemical engineering in the early stages of her career. More details of the award can be found at this link.

In addition, Dr. Yenkie's undergraduate students won awards at the 2022 AIChE student poster competition. Sean Curtis (right) won first place in the "Fuels, Petrochemicals, and Energy" category for the poster titled "Minimization of Comingled Product in Pipeline Flushing Operations" with co-authors David Theuma, Michael Fracchiolla, Swapana Jerpoth, Kirti Yenkie, Robert Hesketh, Mariano Savelski, and C. Steward Slater. Dylan Snyder (left) won second place in the "Computing and Process Control" category for the poster titled "Application Development for Objective-Based Asset Management of Wastewater Distribution Networks" with co-authors Nathaniel Nelson, Jake Stengel, Emmanuel Aboagye, Matt DeNafo, Gregory Seher and Kirti Yenkie.
