Music Events
Flute Clinic- November 19th, 2023
Explore new techniques, repertoire and ideas! Movement and Music will kick off the day with free-flow musical interpretation followed by a session on flute technique, guiding participants through technical issues. The clinic culminates with a performance for anyone who wants to play!
This event is FREE and open to middle and high school students who play the flute.

WindFest 2023 - December 12th, 2023
Rowan University Bands presented the WindFest Honor Band & Masterclasses for Outstanding High School Musicians!
Participants will enjoy challenging repertoire and exciting rehearsals, working alongside Rowan's world-class faculty and exceptional university students in performance and masterclass settings.
High School band directors are invited to nominate up to 10 students by November 17. Selected students will be notified ahead of the event.

Rowan University Bass Hang- February 2th, 2024
Learn the string bass, work on playing and hang out with Rowan’s bassists. Sessions will focus on advanced technique, solo and ensemble playing, jazz bass line creation, practice strategies, auditioning and performance, culminating in a concert featuring all participants. Open to bassists age 10-18.
