Sweeney Center Director Mark Magyar will be making a presentation on the Multi-Year Budget Workgroup and how it develops independent, consensus five-year revenue and expenditure forecasts on the New Jersey state budget. The academic conference is sponsored by the New Jersey Policy Lab at Rutgers University, New Brunswick.

The SMART Congressional Initiative, a four-state consortium established in 1999 to advise the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland delegations on technology issues, is holding an all-day forum at Rowan. Workshop panels will focus on Manufacturing, Energy and Environment, and Artificial Intelligence and Photonics. Rowan University College of Humanities and Social Sciences, Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering, and School of Earth and Environment are among the conference's lead sponsors.
