College of Education

Guided by the phrase, “Access, Success, and Equity…Turning Research into Practice,” the College of Education is firmly committed to research, innovation, and community engagement. With approximately 3,000 students preparing to be education professionals, we are poised to transform the P-20 landscape. The College is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and is committed to continuous improvement. Our academic departments are aligned with our mission and vision. Our thriving Professional Development Schools (PDS) Network consists of innovative partnerships formed between our college and local P-12 schools. With a focus on research, professional services and policy engagement, our Center for Access, Success and Equity (CASE) is home to our Ph.D. in Education program which offers specializations in language and literacy education, counselor education, special education, higher education/post-secondary education, and urban and diverse educational systems. The Holmes Scholars Program and Project IMPACT are both programs aimed at addressing opportunity gaps faced by individuals from diverse backgrounds. Become a part of Rowan University’s College of Education and join us as we work toward our vision to be a leading force in preparing and supporting reflective practitioners who use education to transform our global society.
