Coordinated Program in Dietetics (CPD)

Thank you for your interest in the coordinated program at Rowan University. The Coordinated Program (CPD) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). The CPD includes lectured based course work and 1200 hours of supervised practice required by ACEND. Students are placed in a variety of settings, including medical centers, long-term care facilities, school nutrition programs, health departments, wellness centers and many other locations. After completing the CPD, the graduate earns a bachelor and master of science degree and is eligible to take the National Registration Examination to become a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN). In 2024, a master’s degree will be required to be eligible for the exam. In the Junior and Senior year of the program, you will complete 80 hours of experience and in the graduate year, you will complete 1120 hours of experience.
