Biography

Dr. S. Jay Kuder a professor in the Department of Interdisciplinary and Inclusive Education. Dr. Kuder holds a master’s degree in special education from Temple University and a doctoral degree in Applied Psycholinguistics from Boston University. His research interests are in the development of effective practices for enhancing the language and literacy skills of children with disabilities. Lately, his focus has been on transition of students with autism to higher education and identifying factors that predict their success in higher education. Dr. Kuder is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association, the Council for Exceptional Children, and a fellow of the American Association on Intellectual Disabilities. He currently coordinates the MA in Special Education and the certificate program in autism spectrum disorders at Rowan University.
