Biography
Natoya Coleman received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature and Master of Arts degree in Secondary Education with an English Certification from the University of Michigan. She later earned a second Master of Arts degree from Bowie State University in Elementary and Secondary School Administration and Supervision. After 10 years of serving in Maryland and Washington D.C. as a middle and high school English Teacher, writer of high school English curriculum, program coordinator and academic coach, Natoya is now a Ph. D. student focusing on literacy and curriculum in Urban Education. Natoya is the Professor in Residence at West Deptford Middle School, an undergraduate course instructor, and supervisor of clinical experience/intern students.
