ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT: 

With a wide variety of challenging offerings, the Mathematics Department at Rowan University offers a competitive, yet fun, learning environment. Students have the option of two undergraduate degrees, a graduate program and several concentrations. Our faculty is comprised of experts in many areas, including applied and theoretical mathematics, statistics, abstract algebra and analysis. Rowan's math students boast noteworthy credentials as well. Many have conducted original research, participated in national and international mathematics competitions and published papers with faculty. The Mathematics Department is located on the 2nd floor of Robinson Hall (Suite 228). Contact us here.

Math tutoring is free for all majors in our Math Learning Center located at Robinson Hall Room 228.

Graduate Programs in Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics at Rowan University is now offering a Masters in Mathematics, with three concentrations (Statistics, Applied Mathematics or Pure Mathematics). This program is ideal for students who want to pursue further graduate studies or a career in industry. The M.A. program provides hands-on experience and advanced training so students are prepared with the enhanced skills needed in industry or academic research institutes. Students will need to successfully complete a total of 30 credits (4 semesters only!)
