    • BIOL 01.106 Biology 2: Concepts in Genetics
    • BIOL 01.203 Biology 3: Introduction to Cell Biology

  • Option 2:
    • Biology I (transferred from another institution)
    • Biology II (transferred from another institution)
    • BIOL 01.202 Biology 3T: Biological Skills & Methods
    • BIOL 01.204 Biology 4: Global Ecology
  • In addition to completing either Option 1 or Option 2 above, students must complete two (2) additional Biology courses that are accepted for the Biology major. One of these must be 300-level or above, and one of them must be a laboratory course.

Students who transfer to Rowan having already completed the traditional Biology I and II will be enrolled in a special version of Biology 3, BIOL 01.202 Biology 3T: Biological Skills and Methods. This is a course designed to focus on the learning skills and hands-on science skills to which the Rowan students had been exposed in Rowan's Biology 1 and Biology 2. After successful completion of this special course for such transfer students, those students will proceed to Biology 4. Transfer courses other than Biology I and II will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
