Types of Service-Learning Programs:

We offer three types of service-learning programs:

  1. Direct service-learning
  2. Indirect service-learning, and
  3. Project-based service-learning.

About our Service-Learning Programs:

Our unique service-learning programs provide experiential learning opportunities that allow you to:

  • actively apply course content to practice and serve the community
  • collaborate with peers and connect with the community
  • develop critical thinking and intercultural competency skills for lifelong learning
  • promote diversity and inclusion in a variety of contexts

  • Literacy NJ (Westville, New Jersey)
  • Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey (Camden, New Jersey)
  • Unidos para la familia and Indian Avenue School (Bridgeton, New Jersey)
  • Fatec (Faculdades de Tecnologia do Estado de São Paulo, a Federal University in São Paulo, Brazil)
