In an economic world in which competitive advantage is increasingly based on knowledge and creativity, effective Human Resources functions are crucial for organizations that want to improve their productivity. The Rowan University Human Resources Management requirements prepare graduates for the HR profession using a blend of classroom, extra-, and co-curricular experiences, such as internships and project-based learning assignments. Our program is grounded in the values of workplace equity and respect and recognition for contributions of the diverse American workforce.

The HR Management internship course includes field experience in government, industry, or non-profit organizations. Trainees are given assignments that prepare them for productive employment upon graduation and in many cases, become employees of these firms. The learning process is monitored by an HR Management faculty member to ensure successful transition from the classroom to the career environment. Rowan offers internship opportunities for 8 programs including Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resource Management, Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing, and Supply Chain and Logistical Systems each with prerequisites and organizational relationships with real world firms.
